Hanauma Bay Nature Park Hours

Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve is about 10 miles east of Waikiki just off the main coastal road (Kalaniana'ole Highway, Route 72).

Summer Hours of Operation: Hanauma Bay is open daily from 6:00a.m. until 7:00p.m. except on Tuesdays. Hanauma Bay is closed on Tuesdays.

Winter Hours of Operation: Hanauma Bay is open daily from 6:00a.m. until 6:00p.m. except on Tuesdays. Hanauma Bay is closed on Tuesdays.

Hanauma Bay is closed on Christmas and New Years Day.

Plan to get to the bay early. The parking lot often fills early and you will be turned away if it is full. By getting an extra early start you will avoid long lines at the ticket booth and snorkel concession.

If you go on our guided snorkel tour, you will not have to worry about parking and getting into the bay. We also do not have to wait in line and our guide goes with you in the water to the best spots to see turtles and schools of beautiful fish.
