Our guide Fumio was great! She guided our two kids snorkeling for the first time and they really enjoyed it. She had everything prepared for us at Hanauma Bay so once we arrived we changed into our gears quickly and headed for snorkeling.

Wonderful! Definitely worth the extra money for a guided tour. We explored parts of the reef that I never would have had the confidence to swim to and our guide knew exactly where to see a variety of fish. She took the guess work and uncertainty out of the experience so we could just enjoy! Best part is that she took tons of pictures too. Great experience!

Dan is an excellent and attentive instructor for beginners. Our group consisted of children and seniors and yet he can accommodate everyone’s wishes. Also he took free underwater photos. 100% recommended.

Greetings from sunny southern CA, just want to thank you both for your professionalism, patience, and concern for our safety on our afternoon snorkel tour last week at Hanauma Bay.We spent alot of time researching which tour to take during our 8 day Oahu vacation & for a moment we considered being cheap and hosting our own "a la carte" snorkel excursion, but the idea of wandering into a beautiful, yet unknown, abyss of water freaked us out. We are very grateful that we stumbled across your website and were pleasantly surprised with our tour experience. As tourists,we have had our fair share of tacky luau's, wacky hosts, and funky food and have become leary of advertised entertainment in Oahu. Even though we have only snorkled twice, and consider ourselves "experienced" in the arena of snorkeling, we will continue to book our Hanauma Bay tours with you during our annual visit to Oahu. This is because of your familiarity with the bay and put simply, "you know your stuff." During the tour we saw an array of sea life including an octopus and a sea turtle and had we opted for the cheap option we would have wondered aimlessly on our own not knowning were in the bay to snorkel with confidence. Monday morning, April 3, 2006, my husband and daughter went on your snorkel tour with a guy named Alan. I just wanted to thank Alan for giving them such a great snorkeling experience! They loved every minute of it. Thank you for taking the time to personalize it. My husband is now hooked on snorkeling, we were able to go back one more time before we left and we couldn't get him out of the water. I just wanted to email you guys and tell you that we had a wonderful time on weds day 08/10/05, this was me and my wife first time snorkeling and they walk us through all the steps, the do's and don'ts and were very patient. the price is well worth it, not having to wait in lines just to get in. when we come back to Hawaii, we will book another tour . thanks

This tours was very professional and enjoyable. I am not a fan of the ocean but the adventure was one I will treasure and remember. The instructor was great and adjusted to our needs perfectly.

It was excellent. They showed up on time, were friendly and knowledgeable, and made it a great experience for me and my daughter.

Dear Allyn and Duane,

Thank you for the wonderful snorkeling adventure last week. The instruction and assistance was just right for this first - timer. Everything from the "breath like Darth Vader", to the group size, to the pace in the water was perfect.

This tour was wonderful by its self and as a bonus it was very helpful when I snorkeled later in the week. That tour was lots of fun but did not provide a lot of instruction (maybe because no one needed it?) so I was very glad I had already taken your lesson.

Our thanks to Allyn from Hanauma Bay Dive Tours for such a memorable afternoon snorkeling in Hanauma Bay. My sister and I were vacationing with our 78-year-old mother, and while we thought it would be fun for her to give snorkeling a try, we figured most companies would cater more to the young and fearless. On the contrary! Allyn was not only very skilled and experienced, but incredibly patient and encouraging. He provides personalized, nicely paced instruction which can definitely be tailored to the beginner of all ages.

Hi,

We recently (Nov19) had a guided snorkel tour with Allyn Plant in the Hanauma Bay. The experience was amazing. In spite of my wife not knowing how to swim, we were able to snorkel deep inside the ocean with the help of Allyn and got to see the best views of several fish and turtles. I don't think it would have been possible to get this experience without a guide tour.

I would strongly recommend a guided tour with Hanauma Bay Dive tours to maximise the experience!

I just want to thank Hanauma Bay Dive Tours and especially Will for making my my first dive so fun and enjoyable. As much as I was looking forward to the experience I was still anxious and nervous about the dive. However, Will did a fantastic job of putting me to ease and giving me a quick and essential dive lesson. Throughout the entire dive Will was very supportive and attentive to his first time divers. I had a great time and I'm looking forward to diving with them when I return. Thanks again.

I just wanted to take a few moments and thank you for the wonderful dive we had Hanauma Bay. We had a great time. My wife was very nervous about doing the dive (since it was our first time), but you made her feel extremely comfortable and safe. We saw so many colorful fish not too mention that huge sting ray. Our dive at Hanauma was definitely the highlight of our trip.

The Hanuama Bay snorkeling tour was one of the best things we did during our entire 10 days in Hawaii. Neither of us had ever snorkeled (and one of us is terrified of water) and Allen literally took us by the hand until we were comfortable with the gear and the water. It was the perfect transition from the swimming pool to the Pacific. He also took us to parts of Hanauma Bay we would never have gone on our own, which allowed us to see incredible varieties of reef fish, and three sea turtles. By doing this tour, we were also able to bypass all of the time-consuming, non-snorkeling parts of Hanauma Bay and get straight into the water. Allen was such a good instructor for beginners that we snorkeled four more times, by ourselves, while we were in Hawaii. Thanks again for a marvelous introduction to Hawaii's sea life.

I personally just wanted to say thank you once again for the attention you gave me when I was very nervous. I really appreciated you holding my hand practically the whole time we were snorkeling and taking Tyson out for an even more adventourous snorkel, pointing out the different fish, etc. to us both.
