About:
Your scuba diving adventure at Hanauma Bay begins with a warm welcome from your dive instructor near the gift shop. After signing your Discover Scuba Diving registration and medical forms, your instructor will guide you to the park entrance (entrance fee included) and direct you to a 7-minute video on preserving Hanauma Bay.
This informative video introduces you to the marine species you'll encounter during your dive and provides essential guidelines for maintaining the bay's beauty, such as avoiding touching or standing on the coral reef. Meanwhile, your instructor will be preparing all the necessary equipment for your dive.
Following the video, your instructor will conduct a thorough safety briefing covering scuba equipment usage, interactions with marine life, and hand signals. Once briefed, you'll gear up, take a tram ride to the beach, and enter waist-deep water. Here, you'll acclimate to breathing underwater and practice the essential skills outlined in the briefing.
After completing the skills and experiencing SCUBA for the first time, your instructor will lead you on a

To scuba dive safely, you must not be extremely over weight or out of condition. Diving can be strenuous under certain conditions. Your respiratory and circulatory systems must be in good health. All body air spaces must be normal and healthy. A person with heart trouble, a current cold or congestion, epilepsy, asthma, a severe medical problem, or who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, should not dive and will be prohibed from diving with Hanauma Bay Dive Tours. Pregnant women should not be participating in scuba diving. A person should not fly for a minimum of eighteen hours after scuba diving. If taking medication, consult your doctor before participating in this program.
Hanauma Bay Beginner Scuba: $225.00 . Note entrance fee of $25.00 is not included in this tour.
(age 12 and above). No experience required. Includes all equipment and instruction. Direct entrance into the park. No need to wait in line. Tour takes approximately 4 hours. This tour is offered on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Maximum four people with one instructor.
